Ken Griffey Jr. (birth name George Kenneth Griffey, Jr.) was born on November 21, 1969 in Donora, Pennsylvania, United States. He is a Major League Baseball player
on the Cincinnati Reds.
Biography and Career :
He had attended Archbishop Moeller High School. In 1987 was the first overall pick of that year's amateur draft by the Seattle Mariners and soon after became a valuable player for his team.
On April 3, 1989 he debuted in the Major League Baseball at Seattle Mariners. He was their player until 1999. Next year he started playing for Cincinnati Reds.
His talent and hard work made him one of the best and successful players. During the years he collaborated with Nike and released Nike Air Griffey Max. He also accepted to appear in four Nintendo videogames and had a me
morable guest turn on "The Simpsons". As a baseball
played he broke many records and became a wealthy person.
On October 24, 1992 he married Melissa Gay. Now the couple has three children: Taryn and Trey and Tevin Kendall who was adopted. His fans are numerous and they have supported their idol year after year. He is a legend and will surely remain in the history.
